About johanna stull
I have been creating art for as long as I remember, but I feel like only recently I've been having a serious go at it.
After graduating from college with a BS in Fashion Design, I went to work designing clothes for a maternity company and am now recreating vintage sports apparel for another - but my first love was always, and always will be art.
There's a certain kind of freedom that comes from expressing myself through the images and portraits of others. I focus mainly on women - they are beautiful, after all!!! And I put myself into every piece that I create.
Right now I'm working mostly on a smaller scale, nothing bigger than 18x24 - but I'm hoping to branch into canvas soon. I love using ink and markers - they're my medium of choice at the moment, but I'm sure that will change as I start to work more.
I've been so obsessed with this whole Day of the Dead collection that it's been very difficult, if not impossible, to focus on anything else. I've really become attached to every piece, and I hope that all of you enjoy it as well.
