Protecting my images

Below is a list of commonly asked questions which may help you. If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to answer your query. You might also like to look through the Terms and Conditions to see if your question is answered within these.

  • Q.

Can my images be downloaded by other users?

  • A.

It is possible for other users to save your images, however, you can choose to add a Creative Commons License to your images by clicking on Edit image license when uploading images. You can then decide whether you’d like to Allow commercial usage or Allow modifications. You can also choose which country this applies to, although we advise "International". Decide on the format of your artwork; since we currently do not support video this will probably be 'image'. If your work is derived from another artwork, you may want to enter the URL of the source work. You may also want to add a URL where a user can obtain information about clearing rights that are not pre-cleared by your CC license. Click Submit Query to save your selections and return to your Gallery images.
