Editing my galleries & images

Below is a list of commonly asked questions which may help you. If you cannot find the answer you are looking for, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to answer your query.   How do I create a gallery?

  Go to My Account and click Add new art under My artwork on the left.Enter the name of your gallery, select a category, select a sub-category and write your description. Then press the Continue button. You will now see the Add Gallery Images section. Press the Upload button and browse for your images. Select images from your computer. When you upload more than 5 images (up to 20) to any gallery, it will automatically create a Virtual Gallery, to the right of your still gallery.

  How many galleries can I have?

  You can have as many galleries and Virtual Galleries as you wish as you wish.

  How many images can I add to a gallery?

• 
  A.

  You can add as many images to your galleries as you wish, however a Virtual Gallery will only be created once you upload a minimum of 5 images. The best result for creating a Virtual Gallery is to upload 20 images to a gallery as this will fill all 4 rooms.

  How do I remove a gallery?

  Go to My Account and click on My galleries. 
Beside the gallery you wish to delete, click the remove box on the right. Then click Update.

  How do I upload an image?

•

  You can add an image to an existing gallery or create a new gallery first and then upload an image:Existing gallery:Go to My Account and click on My galleries. Choose gallery, click Edit gallery. Beneath Gallery images, enter the name of your image. Click on Browse and select your image from your computer. If you would like the image to be your main image on your Artist profile, click the box beside Set as cover. On the right, you may add a description about your image in the box provided. You may also choose to protect your work by clicking on Edit image license.New gallery:Go to My Account and click Add new image. Choose a name for your gallery, a category, a sub-category and a short description (required field), click Save. You can now add your image, by entering Image name. Click on Browse and select your image from your computer, select Save. You have the option to Set as cover of your gallery, to offer artwork For sale or to Remove it.You may also choose to protect your work by clicking on Edit image license. You can now decide whether you’d like to Allow commercial usage or Allow modifications. You can also choose which country this applies to, although we advise "International". Decide on the format of your artwork, since we currently do not have the option of video this will probably be "image". 
If your work is derived from another artwork, you may want to enter the URL of the source work. You may also want to add a URL where a user can obtain information about clearing rights that are not pre-cleared by your CC license.   How big must my images be?

  Images should be no more than 2500 pixels wide and/or 2500 pixels high at 72 ppi. Uploading images this size will allow users to zoom into the detail in the artwork as they would in real life.   Can I upload several images at once?

  Yes, you can upload up to 10 images at a time.

• Q. 

  How long does it take for an image to show once uploaded?

  A.

  Your images will appear in your gallery straight away and can also be seen in the Recently added images column on our homepage.

• Q. 

  How do I remove an image?

  Go to My Account and click on My galleries under My artwork on the left. Decide which gallery the image you wish to remove is in.
 Click Edit gallery. Scroll down to view your Gallery images. 
Beside the image you wish to delete, click the remove box on the right, then click Save.

  Why can't I upload CMYK images?
