As an artist Dutch painter Daniel Douglas (1984) paints portraits, nudes, still lifes and landscapes in a magic realistic style. The refined classic oil-paint techniques, which are characteristic for this style, he learned from the realistic painter Maarten Welbergen. Later on he increased his knowledge of the human anatomy at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. Here he worked, under the guidance of the painter Daniel Graves, with discipline and perseverance on the improvement of his style. The art of Daniel Douglas is regularly shown on exhibitions of various galleries.
Daniel has his own museum-gallery which is open daily on appointment.
