About Scotty B
Born Artist, My Name is Scott,
I am known as the ‘Brave 1’.
Some People call me a ‘Graffiti artist’,
I prefer being called 'a Spray-can-artist'.
Although I work as an artist, I make a lot of my paintings for free or 'just for fun', & in the public domain.
Most of my paintings no longer exist. Only in my photographs.
The majority of my work is destroyed, painted over or disrespected soon after I’ve finished it.
I run ‘Brave Arts’.
Brave Arts specializes in providing Spray-can-art / Street Art/ Murals & Graffiti art services.
I am also a youth worker & a Graphic Design graduate,
Since leaving University, I have painted a lot of large murals,
run hundreds of workshops & painted lots of commissions.
My clients include the V&A, the BBC, Ch 4 & Myspace u.k.
I've had my work published in books. I've exhibited in many galleries.
I've run Youth Groups (incl non art based youth projects) in
Schools and for many Councils initiatives.
I've worked as an artist in residence in Prisons & secure units for young people as well as in very posh schools!
I live in Essex in the U.K & I travel around a lot for work, and to find new places, people & things to make paintings with & on.
I'm always up for meeting new artists, creatives & exploring places & spaces I can make art on.
